Parse collects the following types of data to provide our media analysis services:

• Account Information: Email address, name (when you create an account)
• Analysis Data: Article URLs and content you submit for analysis
• Usage Data: API requests, credits consumed, analysis history
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information (for security and rate limiting)

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Provide article analysis and credibility scoring
• Manage your account and credit balance
• Improve our AI models and analysis quality (using anonymized data)
• Prevent abuse and ensure platform security
• Send service-related communications (if you opt-in)
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Retention

Article Analyses: Stored in your dashboard for 90 days, then automatically deleted.

Anonymous Analyses: Deleted after 24 hours (no account required).

Account Data: Retained until you delete your account or request data deletion.

You can delete individual analyses at any time from your dashboard.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate our platform:

• Authentication: Google OAuth stores minimal profile data (email, name)
• Payments: Stripe processes payments (we never see your card details)
• AI Models: Z.ai API receives article content for analysis (not used for training)
• Infrastructure: Railway hosts our application (US-based servers)

Important: Article content sent to Z.ai is NOT used to train their models. Your content remains confidential.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use the following cookies:

• Essential Cookies: Required for authentication and session management (NextAuth)
• Security Cookies: CSRF tokens and session identifiers

We do NOT use:

• Advertising tracking cookies
• Third-party analytics (Google Analytics, etc.)
• Behavioral tracking pixels
• Facebook Pixel or similar marketing tools

You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies will break login functionality.

Under GDPR, you have the following rights:
